We have 10 years to fundamentally shift how we live. To stop the cult of consumerism, to switch rampant 'what about me' individualism to collective need. Not going to happen, even if you convince the pope to preach it. It's not convenient. It's not marketable. We've reached stage 4 of this environmental cancer and we're still smoking the metaphorical cigar thinking "you've got to die of something".
