I’ve been using a Linux desktop for the last couple of years and every time I have to use a Mac it’s just painful. Linux is pure, boots quickly, is secure and it gets out of my way. Not to mention you get a much better performance $ ratio with an old school desktop.

I think you’re right, cloud services are here and are only going to get more and more powerful. WebAssembly should enable the likes of Photoshop and Sketch in the browser. And when that happens, that will remove the last major barrier to Linux desktop adoption. Viva the revolution.
