Great article Glen, this is exactly what I think as well. If humans do survive the next few centuries (a big if imo) they are going to have to contend with pouluted everything (plastics, forever chemicals, radioactive dumps, heavy metals, toxins of so many kinds) and a very depleted animal and insect kingdom. And a very hostile climate on top. Essentially, compared to the paradise we inherited, it will be a harsh and terrible shadow of it.
