Aside from the storms, the Thwaites glacier in Antarctica is a ticking time bomb. When it breaks off, its going to mean an extra 2 feet to the global sea levels very quickly, with potentially an additional 10 feet in the following years. I don't think you want to be anywhere near the coast with your permanent residence.
