Absolutely Susie. This particular instance of global warming is most definitely caused by us.

The physics of the 4 key green house gases has been thoughorly examined and proven and any disbelief in this is nothing more than ignorant and delusional.

Indeed the Earth would freeze without them. It's all about balance and right now we're destroying that balance, and at pace.

Imo we have (or perhaps HAD a) choice: Live like cave people or depopulate. Of course the former would result in huge depopulation anyway.

If our global population was a mere fraction of what it is is today, say 100 million, we would not have most of the ecological problems we have right now and could also plan a gradual transition to low carbon economics.

Do we really need to all live at the same moment in history? I say no we don't. Not having many children and immigrating people in to the most livable zones imo is the most ethical and practical solution. I think people will handle not having children better than not having heating or enough resources to live a decent life.
